James Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, is a comedian per excellence, whose presence cannot be overlooked in the Yoruba movie industry. Cornered recently in Lagos by Rosemary Ogana of Best of Nollywood, he confesses that he has finally found the love of his life and will be getting married soon. Enjoy!

Recently in an interview with  , Lanre Omiyinka!

Bon: who is the lucky lady?

Lanre: I don’t want to disclose that for now but very soon you will find out, but she’s definitely not into the entertainment industry. She is very quiet, reserved and hardworking. She is one of the managers of Samsung Company. Unlike I, She cherishes her private life.

Bon: when is the wedding proper?

Lanre: it is not marriage per say, it’s just an introduction/ engagement ceremony and it’s on 14th July 2012. You are all invited.

Bon: is your wedding going to be an elaborate one?

Lanre: it’s only God who can decide that. Every human being wants an elaborate wedding but if God says no, who can say yes? So until then, let’s keep our fingers crossed.

Bon: why are you not marrying from the entertainment industry?

Lanre: I didn’t choose her, it was divinely arranged. Frankly speaking I don’t see myself marrying from the industry, it won’t work am sure of that. Because I can’t just imagine my wife as a colleague, I won’t be able to talk to her or express myself the way I want to either as a wife or a colleague.

Bon: heard you once dated an actress how true is that?

Lanre: that’s a lie, I never dated an actress. Every profession has its negative part and that’s the part where people spread rumor about you. Some people just enjoy spreading untrue stories about people.  Can you imagine? I received a call from a friend only to confirm if I was died or alive, because he heard I have passed away from the mouth of some people.

Bon: what should your fans be expecting from you before and after your wedding?

Lanre: Am working on an album titled “Alagba Efon” it’s a comedy song which preaches about marriage. We have a lot packaged in that album and its will be release soon.
