NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS FREED FROM ROBBERY CASE
A Yoruba actress, Yetunde Akilapa, was nabbed by a mob in Somolu area of Lagos State for an alleged robbery In February 2013. The up and coming make-believe star was accused of being in possession of about 100 pieces of master keys.
However, months after the incident, the actress has now been discharged and acquitted by the court.
Yetunde was freed some days ago after the court ruled that the matter brought before it by the police lacked diligent prosecution
The actress had disclosed that the bunch of keys found on her were props used in her flick titled ‘Bunmi Akata’, but her accusers didn’t dance to her explanations. She was then detained at Alade Police Station in Somolu on February 7, 2013, and charged to court thereafter.
