Bose Oladimeji maybe new in the industry but she claim to have a lot to offer. In this interview with BON, she reveals her interest in production and why she delved into production despite the fact she has been in the industry for a few years. Also, she talked about love and her financiers.
BON: Tell us about yourself
BOSE OLADIMEJI: My name is Oladimeji Abosede.  Am a producer and actress
BON: What was your growing up like?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: So interesting and amazing. Actually I can’t remember so many things I went through growing up but I thank God for my life, for where I am today because I didn’t believe it.
BON: Did you always want to be an Actress as a child?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Yes! I have been wanting to be an actress when I was very small. When I was in school and our teachers  tell us  stories,  I do listen very well and  it will be as if  I was there when they were cooking the stories,  because of the interest and the passion I have for it.
BON: What movies have you produced?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Oniduro was my first movie, then followed by Laiye Lorun, Adajo Aiye, I just finished one of my production,  Aiyemi is the title (My life) but it is yet to be released.
BON: Are you more of a producer than an actress?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Both of them but the most challenging part of it is production. It is not easy to be a producer, honestly you will struggle and at the end of the day, you will just pray to God to crown your effort because it is not easy .I wouldn’t lie to you, I went through a lot of things but I thank God am a producer.
BON: Did you come into Nollywood as a producer or as an actress?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: I didn’t come in as a producer at the initial stage. When I got to the industry,  I came as an apprentice under Bayo Tijani, the more we went to location the more I learnt, you know the more you see things the more the picture comes into your mind and i have some people am look up to, the way I see them I feel  can be greater than what they are. That is what am really working towards. I have produced 4 movies
BON: When did you start producing?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: I started producing in the year 2012
BON: What was the acceptance like?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: In Oniduro I acted  four (4) scene, in  Laiye Lorun I did more but this Adajo Aiye really boost  me , people really watched it and I have a lot of comment people really have good comment .I was so blessed within myself and I was told  the places I needed to correct, I was told the things that I lack and I’ve  yielded to the advice and correct myself in fact if you watch Aiye mi, you will know that there are  lots of differences. Aiye mi will be released this year.
BON: Did you study acting in school?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: No I read English Study
BON: At where
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun State.
BON: Let’s talk about your family?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: I was born and brought up in Kwara State, Ikerun my great town, my parent base in Lagos, during my holiday I do come to Lagos to have my holiday with my parent and my siblings most of us we didn’t stay with our parent they send us to school so, during the holiday we meet at home.
BON: Was it a boarding School?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: yes! I attended a boarding school, right from my primary school to secondary school it is only my higher institution that was different
BON: Why don’t you study acting?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: I didn’t go for acting in my school because when I was still learning this acting stuff I had a lot of lessons and rehearsal  under Bayo Tijani and Muyiwa Ademola with Afeez  Eniola. it is not something someone can take for granted because they are really serious with it and they coached us well. So, I think studying  English Language, Literature has to do with acting as well , you know in Literature you will see what is happening in the society, from there you build yourself up.  So, studying English Language is also in line.
BON: Can you say that being a producer has putting money in your pocket?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Being a producer doesn’t mean you are rich.  The only grace that I have is my parent because they  want me to achieve my dream and have  really supported  me  a lot. including my  better half, he is behind me ,if I have any challenges, i call on him and tell him, he tells me what to do. I also go to my  mother  when am in a cross road because she has seeing a lot and she know where to direct me to.
BON: How does your better half feel whenever he sees you kissing or something like that in film?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: He do appreciate it. Honestly, because he believes that it’s my job and after that he believes I can’t do more than that.  If it is on set, I have to do what the director  wants me to do to make it real for people,  you know we are talking about fiction?  We need to make it real, after set there is nothing like that again, am now Bose.
BON:  So Can you go nude in a film to tell a story well?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: I can’t lie, I can never go nude in any film. No matter the amount they want to pay me, I can’t do it, am really endowed with God’s blessing so, I think it shouldn’t be expose like that.  In anything you are doing, apply wisdom to it because exposing yourself doesn’t make you a star. Things comes gradually, it’s not a day job, the more you put in efforts, the more people notice  you . It’s not by going naked.  So, just put more effort, act the way they want you to act, project the what they want you to say it. People will really appreciate when you make it as real as possible, rather than going naked .If you watch my movie you can’t see my.
BON: What are the challenges you have faced so far?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: I faced a lot of challenges in terms of money ,I had a lot of challenges during my production and  we need more money, I have people to  call on and I thank God they do respond.
BON: Who are those people you went to when you don’t have money for production? Is it that you go to bank for loan or you have some friends or  sugar daddy?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Fist of all my Mummy after my Mummy my better heart…..
BON: (cuts in) So better half is very rich? Who is better half?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: (laughs) Let’s keep that aside.
BON: Is it that there is one sugar daddy somewhere?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Even sugar daddy outside are not ready to give money and I don’t believe in sugar daddy,  I have never seen any and I don’t have. I do have admires but I don’t have sugar daddy, I wouldn’t lie.
BON: Apart from financially what other challenges have you faced, haven’t you been sexually harassed?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: Nobody will harass me, it depend on the way you put yourself, if you put yourself in a good  way,  people will respect you and if you try to behave as if you are on top of the world, believe me they will harass you. You know this thing is yes or no?  It is not by force if someone woos you and you like the person, fine you go for it and if you don’t you quit. I don’t think there is any harassment in that. I have never witness such since I started this job.
BON: What are your future plans?
BOSE OLADIMEJI: I pray that my God should lead me to where I want to be, am hoping to be ambassador for nollywood, I believe in working hard that I will achieve my dream.
BON: So, let’s go to back to “ Better heart” are you getting marry soon (laughs)?

BOSE OLADIMEJI: With God all things are possible (laughs)
