Obi Emelonye Speaks on his Arrest

Nollywood Movie Director Obi Emelonye who was arrested yesterday at LTV premises  after shoot talks about his arrest.

“The arrest was just a misunderstanding. There’s more to Nigeria than all the negative things we see on TV, I amonly trying to portray Nigeria in a good lite in my next movie, so i decided to take some area shot of Shoprite and other beautiful places in Lagos and Ibadan. After the shoot in Lagos (Shoprite), I and my crew went to pick my car which was parked in the premises of LTV. As i was about driving out of  LTV premises,  the security guys noticed my camera and  raised a false alarm that i was taking shot of LTV without permission. Before i could say Jack, they called the Police and the Chief Security Officer, who later requested that i be brought to him. Fortunately for me, myself and the  CSO used to play football together. I narrated everything to him and i was released later in the evening”.
