CHIGOZIE ATUANYA TO PREMIERE ‘CHETANNA’ AT WORLD FESTIVAL OF IGBO ARTS AND CULTURE

downloadThe world premiere of the Igbo language movie, Chetanna, will take place in Staunton, Virginia, at the World Igbo Festival of Arts and Culture, which will run from July 24 through July 26, 2014. Chetanna is a contemporary Igbo language movie (subtitled in English) of exceptional quality,  produced by popular Nollywood actor, Chigozie Atuanya.
Chetanna stars Queen Nwokoye, Ebube Nwagbo, Ebele Okaro, and Chigozie Atuanya. It was directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka, working with Okechukwu Oku as Director of Photography. The team of Ikechukwu Onyeka and Okechukwu Oku, who worked on Chetanna, is one of the most sought after in the industry, having worked on movies such as Brother’s Keeper, Jafar, and The Duplex.
Chetanna will also be premiered in a number cities in Nigeria, including Lagos, Awka, Aba, and Umuahia.
Synopsis
Chetanna is the gripping tale of an American returnee whose unbridled past in America has come to haunt his present in Africa. A marriage gone sour; greed gives way to unprovoked vendetta and deep-rooted deceit until nemesis comes knocking while true love is caught in the web of mindless scheming.
