Cinemas across the cities nationwide will witness what has been described as a ‘great movie’ come January as First Cut, a movie from Lisa Omorodion takes the centre stage. Joseph Benjamin who features in a leading role in the movie said no better words other than biggest miss of the year could be use to describe the experience for anyone who misses out on the thrilling and educative movie when it eventually hit the cinemas come January 23, 2015.

The popular actor who is a household name courtesy the yearly music reality show, MTN Project Fame West Africa describes the movie,’ First Cut as a product of great work. In his exact word Joseph Benjamin said ‘It is a great movie. I could not believe it is Omorodion’s first attempt at production; the outcome is a great product. So much work was put into it and having Chico Ejiro direct it, and people like Bobby Obodo makes it a great mix’.

First Cut is an educative, captivating, mind blowing and thrilling movie produced by Lisa Omorodion, it presents a theatrical blend of morals, fashion, education, information and professionalism in film-making and production.

First Cut, a movie directed by Chico Ejiro lines its plots with collections of suspense, emotions, neglect, sex, insecurity, parenting, abuse, trauma and other psychological elements.

The movie, First Cut narrates the story of KC Morgan as the central character, played by the producer herself, Lisa Omorodion; a character with an embodiment of talents respected by many yet suppressed by trauma. Not helped by her own painful secret which threatens to shatter the new life she has created for herself, the central character’s woes were even more compounded by her loved ones who continue to inflict pains on her.

First Cut was first shown to a selected few at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, where it was unveiled after which a final editing was made.

First Cut has celebrated nollywood stars who once again exemplified competence, mastery, class and real professionalism, of particular mention are; Monalisa Chinda and Bobby Obodo.
Joseph Benjamin, who is also model, and a television presenter while describing the themes of the movie ,some of which include conflicting marriage ties ,treacherous love and rape said ‘we all don’t need to talk about love and romance all the time. We need good movie like First Cut to give us reality check. These are many deeper things to talk about other than love; yes, we need love but our being isn’t just about love
