Cast: Funke Akindele, Uche Elendu, Cha-Cha Eke, Chinedu Collins Okoro.

Synopsis: Three jobless lazy women Ije (Funke Akindele), Maria (Cha-Cha Eke) and Grace (Uche Elendu) find an easy way of making money, they go to a village that has no law enforcement and start scamming people pretending to be police women earning them the name of Umu-Ada police.
The beginning of this movie made me laugh out loud because it was quite funny with these three ladies who were pretending to be law enforcement agents, I liked the fact that the bus part where there was illegal hawking of drugs was integrated, it was a typical Nigerian situation and also showing the comic part where everyone thought he was a pastor and he was actually there to sell drugs, am still laughing at the insults he received yet they still bought from him.
I also have to give it up to the actors who did a very good job in acting their parts like it was their real personality, Funke Akindele never disappoints (Ije) and although I personally think Cha-Cha Eke overacts at times I have to give her a round of applause for putting herself in that role, this same also goes for Uche Elendu they all did a splendid job including those given minor roles. The director also did a fantastic job too.
The story was simple and the normal Nigerian situation, but at a point the story was dragging and I could predict what would happen next, was expecting something thrilling but I loved the fact that they covered up that situation by showing the women’s vulnerability.
Although I have not watched the second part of the movie I am looking forward to see it because it’s a movie that would make you laugh your insides out. Umu-Ada police is a great movie and I really appreciate the production house putting all this together and it’s a movie that I would recommend to anyone.
