This is the release by Tampam

It is a very professional obligation to look for new talents, in fact it is a fundamental fact in the entertainment industry i.e film, music, fashion etc. But it is out rightly wrong for any producer, director to use that as a means of obtaining under false and untrue pretense money from unsuspecting, innocent youths seeking for avenues to showcase their talents in the entertainment industry by way of organizing AUDITION.

It is hereby a punishable offense for any Producer or Director under the umbrella of Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPPAN) to organize an AUDITION asking people to pay X amount of money. No AUDITION must be an avenue to collect money either by transfer, cheque or cash from anybody. AUDITION is and must be FREE.

I absolutely agree… You should for a matter of fact welcome these artist with tea coffee drinks and be greatful they even step foot to audition for your project in the first place.. Cause with out these artist your script is just another dead piece of paper with words.
