Niyi had come public through his instagram account to own up to the sin. 2.          Franklin Ubi and Lilain Esoro’s Break up and Wedding

This is one you could describe as one of the wonders of love. Earlier in the year, Ubi Franklin had retaliated to an interview in which his ex-girlfriend Emma Nyra had denied ever dating him. Ubi opened up on how much he has spent on her music without any hit song or video forthcoming from his investment. In the interview, he stated that he learned from that relationship never again to date an artiste he’s working with.

That interview spurred Lilian Esoro (Ubi’s  then fiance, now wife ) to call off their engagement and dump him. The reason given is that she still loves an ex of hers and is not ready to move on. But it wouldn’t be surprising if the messy feud with Emma Nyra amid allegations of physical abuse may have had something to do with the breakup.

3.          Baba Tee and Yetunde Burstilng

Nollywood actor and comedian Babatunde Bernard, 35, also known as ‘Baba Tee’ and his UK-based ex-girlfriend Yetunde Oduwole, 44, made headlines for weeks in July, 2015.

The tale of the erstwhile lovers came to the fore when the actor had uploaded a picture of himself and an alleged new girlfriend which he captioned ‘My Banana’.

At the time, even though he was already having issues with Yetunde, they had not fully packed up the relationship.

She couldn’t take it anymore blowing the whole break up in the air, she made a private video and sent to babatee, but somehow the video came public.

In the video Yetunde was seen with tears on her face as she pours out her heart about the embarrassment she has been subjected to as a result of her relationship with the actor

4.          Tonto Dikeh Weds Churchill

This story came as one of the shockers of 2015. After few months of concealing the identity of her then boyfriend popularized as MR. X, Tonto Dikeh on Saturday August 29th secretly held her traditional wedding with her fiancé Churchill Oladunni in Port Harcourt.

This came after an earlier report has suggested that Oladunni was once married and was                                                                         also tagged a womanizer popular among Ghana and Lagos girls.

6.          Funmi  Awelewa and Seyi EDUN Blackberry Leaked Message

This is one of those funny and awkward moments among Nollywood actors you cannot help but laugh about. Sometime in August a Blackberry broadcast message that was supposed to be her personal chat between Funmi Awelewa and one Muhydeen who is the supposed PA of prolific filmmaker Anta Laniyan was leaked. This resulted into names calling and fingering between Seyi Edun and Funmi Awelewa. Although we cannot ascertain the cause of the brawl, all we found out was that the two actors cum producers share popular film marketer “HYBEE” as their business interest. And the root cause of the wahala was not unconnected from that.

7.          Lezbianism Tiff: Adediwura gold VS Omobutty

One of those messy moments; two delectable Yoruba Actors Biodun Okeowo and Adediwura Gold accused each other of being lesbians.

Omobutty had accused Wura of trying to woo her; and Wuragold had fought back claiming the reverse was the case. See their comments in bit;

“…Wura Gold was my friend before and we were very good friend. But I started to give her space when … She told me she wants us to become lovers as in becoming Lesbian partners. I told her wasn’t interested… And that was it”

Check out what Wura Gold said about the issue ”…on the contrary it was Biodun Okeowo that asked me to become her lover and I turned her down. Why would she turn things, people are so funny.”

Although the episode ended without us nailing who the real culprit was thanks to the intervention of Iyabo Ojo and co. who settled the scuffle between the brawling actors.

8.          Patience Ozokwor and Oyenka Nwenu over Jonathan’s campaign fund

After Ex-President Jonathans re-election campaign failed, Thisday reported that brawl was birth between Singer Onyenka Onwenu and Actress Patience Ozokor.

Onyeka, was the Director General, National Women Centre, had made it her business to have a majority of the creative population in Nigeria channel their request to see Jonathan and/or participate in his campaign.

For an actor or musician to go around Onwenu to see Jonathan, his/her connection in Aso Rock Villa had to be very strong. So Onyeka was allegedly miffed when Ozokwor managed to get attention from Aso Rock on her steam. Try as she did to issue an order that Ozokwor should revert to her, it just didn’t work.

The fracas between the two Igbo women was not unconnected with who should control disbursement of the Jonathan campaign fund to a group of certain artistes. At one of the meetings, the center just couldn’t hold any more and things fell apart. Onwenu and Ozokwor allegedly threw dart of words and calling each other names. Although effort was made by members of the guild to reconcile both parties but Ibinabo was of the opinion that Emeka is not about running a guild but about how much he can make from poor people to make up salaries and food for himself.
